10:30am Wednesday 6th April
Frankston Greek Orthodox Church, Petrie Street, Frankston
(This will be a traditional Greek service, mostly in Greek)
Following this service the family will celebrate Nick’s life at the Balnarring Heritage Tavern. They will arrive at approximately 12pm.
This is where we will have the speeches, photo presentation, music, light lunch and drinks at the bar.
You are welcome to come to both or one or the other.
It is with deep regret that we inform you today of the passing of a titan of the Emmanuel Football Club in Nick “Klinger” Pirpiris.
“Klinger” passed away this morning after battling various cancer’s over a number of years.
He played many games with Emmanuel and served on the executive committee for a number of years. He also had a stint at Oakleigh VFA before returning to the Krusherdome to finish of his career.
As you would expect he fought the brave fight to the very end and died peacefully surrounded by family and friends
Rest In Peace Klinger. We’ll see you on the other side.
